Can I bring alcohol to the festival?
No. Unfortunately alcohol and glass bottles cannot be brought to the festival. Alcohol can be purchased within the Beer Tent area.
Can I bring my dog or bicycle to the festival?
No. Bicycles and Dogs will not be allowed in the park on the day of the festival. This excludes accessability dogs.
Are there parking restrictions?
Yes. Lawrence Road and Cargreen Road will be closed to vehicles. Parking is available on many other roads in the area.
Why are the above restrictions being enforced?
Visitors to the park will be far higher than normal on the day of the festival. Therefore to allow the festival to take place the Council, Police, LFB and Festival Organisers are required to enforce restrictions to ensure the safety of the public.
Is the park a public area on the day?
No. The park is privately rented and run by the Festival Organisers. Public access is provided based upon the Police and Council's licensing conditions.

If you lose your child immediately report to St John Ambulance near the bouncy castles. Security will close all gates and start a search with yourself and our staff. Do NOT ask anyone to announce your child's name on any PA.
Who is the festival in aid of?
The festival is in aid of the local area, community, businesses, artists and charities. All monies raised in ticket raffle sales and donation buckets go directly to our two nominated chariities.
Who is the South Norwood Community Festival (SNCF)?
The South Norwood Community Festival was formed in 2011, in response to the need for a local community festival to include everyone. Initially formed by a few members from other local groups the festival committee has grown to over 20 members to include a steering group, committee and external helpers.

The playing of live and recorded music is prohibited
Due to music licensing laws the public and stallholders are not allowed to play live or recorded music. Music can only be played by scheduled performers who are Police background checked and hold a valid music licence for the day of the festival.
Should the festival be evacuated the meeting point will be permanent play area near Tennison Road railway bridge. Should this become unsuitable the meeting point will be outside the park on Tennison Road. Please do not gather near the main entrance where emergency services will be trying to enter.
