Discover the history, life and culture of South Norwood with a collection of guided and self guided walking tours

Hit the streets and see for yourself – there is history everywhere you look in South Norwood. This has inspired a healthy tradition of walking routes and hosted tours over the years as the community has embraced the character it adds to the area. SE25 has a passion for its history and the stories attached to buildings and places. We want to help keep this alive for generations to come. South Norwood’s Conservation Area status recognises historical importance of the built environment, however it is the stories as well as the bricks and mortar that gives the area its charm.

Collected here are just some of the different walking routes made with and by the community.
